In an interview with Zane Loweon Apple Music (via NME), Gallagher revealed that Squire and he plan a tour. “We’re going to go on tour and do some shows, see what happens, try to inspire people and make them happy. That’s it. And then do it again,” said the musician.
“We’ve got a bass player, a drummer, a keyboard player waiting, and that’s if we need it. Let’s try it without a keyboard player or pianist and deliver some balls, man,” he continued. “A little raw, but if we need it, that’s it.”
Gallagher also added that the new album with Squire will have a total of 10 tracks: “There are 10 songs on the album, but we made eight. We demoed eight of them in John’s studio, then another two and recorded them for the first time.” He also stated that the album does not yet have a name. “Only Liam It is Johntype, Liam Gallagher It is John Squiresame.”
