Leila Pinheiro AND Roberto Menescal return to the stage Blue NoteRio for a series of commemorative presentations.
Friends and partners for decades, the singer and pianist Leila Pinheiro and the musician, composer and producer Roberto Menescal will celebrate 65 years of Bossa Nova together on the stage of the Blue Note Rio, next Friday, January 12th. The show, which debuted on the 5th in the Rio headquarters of the most famous jazz club in New York, will take place on the 19th and 26th, again in two sessions, at 8pm and 10.30pm.
In ‘Bossa Nova 65 years’Leila (vocals) and Menescal (guitar) are accompanied by a quartet of renowned musicians made up of Itamar Assiere (piano/keyboard), Marcio Bahia (drums), Zé Luiz Maia (double bass) and Alexandre Caldi (sax/flute).
