“I am moved to see our repertoire being sung by several generations. Throughout this tour, a sea of people cheered with us and we broke our audience record in several cities”, commented Dinho Ouro Preto about the success of the tour.
“Surprising”
In 2022, with the launch of the 4.0 tour, Dinho Ouro Preto spoke to Rolling Stone Brazil on the achievement of reaching 40 years of career with the same band:
“We see nostalgia as something associated with mothballs. But damn, 40 years is impossible, it had to be celebrated. Is a long time! I think it’s a surprising date, making music for so long in Brazil.”
He also compared the experience to performing at festivals, where it is necessary to resort to more “edgy” tracks. “What will happen is the entirety of the DVD, and we will play some other Capital songs that were left out, some more beloved things,” he said.
