The Prime Video platform has released the trailer for “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story”, a musical by Jennifer Lopez, which mixes drama and music videos. The preview included scenes from the recently released “Can’t Get Enough” video.
The drama sees the singer confronting friends about potentially being a sex addict and then appearing at a Sex Addicts Anonymous-style therapy meeting. This between dance scenes and futuristic scenarios.
Director Dave Meyers describes J-Lo’s film as “a narrative, intimate, thoughtful, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly visual musical reimagining of her publicly scrutinized love life.”
Jennifer Lopez herself wrote the screenplay together with the director of the short film Matt Walton (“The Fox & The Pigeon”).
The debut is scheduled for February 16, the release date of his new album, which bears the same title, “This Is Me… Now”.
