After an extensive and successful tour as a guest band at the My Chemical Romance in packed arenas and a solo global tour with 45 dates, the influential and veteran emo/post-harcore band Thursday finally confirms the unprecedented visit to South America. It will be a unique show in Brazil, on April 6th, in São Paulo (SP), at the Carioca Club.
The long-awaited arrival of Thursday still brings Tim Kashervocalist of the also legendary cursive (United States), who will perform a solo acoustic show at the opening.
The tour is a realization of Powerline Music & Bookswhich will soon make available the national edition of the book by the singer of Thursday, Geoff Ricklywhose original title is Someone Who Isn’t Me.
O Thursday was born in 1997, in New Jersey (United States), and, since his first album, Waiting(1999) and mainly with the following, Full Collapse(2001), revolutionized the traditional hardcore scene with the addition of melodies and melodic vocals, maintaining parts with ripped vocals.
