The band Bon Jovi will celebrate its 40 years of rock with a world tour, which will pass through Brazil, the release of a new album and a series of documentaries.
The series arrives on April 26 with archival footage, never-before-seen performances and recordings, and is also expected to address the troubled departure of guitarist Richie Sambora in 2013. Titled “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” the production will commemorate the The band’s history was formed in 1983, in four episodes made available by the Star+ streaming service.
Bon Jovi recently recorded a new album in Nashville. “We’ve been there for five weeks. I’m really excited about it,” guitarist Phil X revealed during an appearance on the Kenny Aronoff Sessions podcast last week, without revealing a release date.
The world tour dates have not yet been revealed. But according to journalist José Norberto Flesch, the Brazilian shows will take place between September and October.
