The musician shared the record with fans, who reacted: “Your contribution to art is even greater”
The musician Ivan Lins shared this Thursday 1st on his Instagram a record that must have surprised many fans: it is a business card from when he graduated in Industrial Chemist, a profession he never practiced. He explains that the idea for the card came from his father, but unfortunately they got the house number wrong. “If I use it today they’ll arrest me for charlatanism,” he jokes.
Ivan also says that his diploma is missing. “I’d love to have that diploma on my wall. I think I’ll put up a note like that instead.”
The musician sees one of his old successes return to the lips of Brazilians: Sovereign Moonclassic Renascer song – sung by Sergio Mendes in the original version – today gets a reinterpretation Luedji Luna AND Xênia Françaplayed at the opening of the telenovela.
On his social networks, the composer confessed: “I would like, one day, to ask one of them (or both) to sing ‘Lua Soberana’, together with me,” he wrote. “It would be just beautiful!”
He himself composed and sang the opening version of the first version, called Borderscomposed in collaboration with Vitor Martins and recorded by Lins with the group Batacoto.
