The band Oingo Boingo Former members, made up of five original members of Oingo Boingo, will go on a farewell tour in Brazil. The group will visit Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Ribeirão Preto between the end of May and the beginning of June.
Formed in 1972 by Richard Elfman, the Oingo Boingo was reformulated in 1978 and led by Danny Elfman, Richard’s brother, combining rock, new wave, ska and theatrical elements.
It is worth mentioning that the single Stay was part of the soundtrack of the soap opera Top Model in the 90s. Danny Elfman will not be present at the shows.
