The South Korean pop hit will perform on the 6th and 7th in Sao Paulo with the ‘Ready To Be’ tour; These will be the group’s only performances in South America
Success of k-popthe female group Twice lands for the first performance a St. Paul this Tuesday 6. In total, the members will perform two shows in the capital of Sao Paulo and take the stage of Allianz Park also Wednesday 7th.
Tickets for Tuesday’s show are already sold out, but there are still tickets available for Wednesday’s show. See available categories here.
The announcement of the shows sparked euphoria among Twice fans not only in Brazil, but also in neighboring countries: they will be the group’s only shows in South America. The nine members – Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu – perform with the tour Ready to bewhich takes its name from the band’s twelfth mini-album.
The disc Ready to be gave the members the record for the biggest pure sales week for an album by a K-pop artist in the United States. Formed in 2015, the group is one of the creations of JYP Entertainment, the conglomerate responsible for successful big names in South Korean pop. Opening shows in São Paulo is the responsibility of VCHA, which is also formed by the company.
The members have many other records on their CV. Twice became the first K-pop girl group to play a North American stadium and, in 2023, they were the first band of their genre to be honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Among the group’s greatest hits are What is love, Fantasy AND The feelings. The band has not officially revealed which songs will be part of the setlist for the shows in Sao Paulo, but the members’ performance in Mexico City this past Saturday, the 3rd, gives a hint as to what fans can expect.
As expected for a K-pop performance, one of the biggest highlights has to be the extremely rehearsed and choreographed script. There should also be room for covers of other artists: in Mexico the members played solo versions of songs like New rulesby Dua Lipa, e 7 rings, by Ariana Grande. What tends to vary, however, are the songs played in the encore.

How to get to Allianz
The old advice applies here. The intense flow of cars makes fast transport (motorcycles and, for those who live in the region, bicycles) the best solution. As a region well served by bus lines, these are also an option. The Allianz website mentions the over 30 lines that pass in front of the stadium.
Those traveling by subway or train can get off at Palmeiras/Barra Funda station, where the CPTM red line, Ruby and Diamond lines pass. It is about a 10 minute walk from the arena. Good for those who don’t want the hassle of leaving.
There are car parks nearby, but they generally charge a high price on match days and shows at the Allianz.

Simplicity, lightness, consistency and excellent ingredients. These are the strengths of Leggera, a pizzeria certified by the Verace Pizza Napoletana Association, managed by the expert and scholar André Guidon, a pizzeria, in fact, which conquered the podium with its margherita in Palate. Delicate and powerful, they are produced with Italian flours, naturally fermented, which results in an elastic and soft dough, with high edges, perfect for accommodating the red tomato sauce with its intense color and delicate flavour. The daisy, which was the big winner of the Palateit is the best and costs R$54.

Casa das Caldeiras is also an important tourist spot near Allianz Parque.
