The artists will perform on September 20th, a date dedicated only to female artists
Katy Perry was announced as the new attraction of Rock in Rio 2024 on the night of Tuesday 6. The festival revealed that the North American artist will be the main protagonist of the World Stage on September 20, which will be dedicated only to female attractions.

Iza and Gloria Gaynor have also been confirmed at Dia Delas, on the Sunset Stage. Previously, the event had already revealed that Ivete Sangalo and Angelique Kidjo would also be part of the September 20 line-up.
Katy had already performed at the festival in 2011 and 2015. This will be the second time that the festival promotes a day dedicated 100% to female artists, the first time was in 2022.
Rock in Rio 2024 will take place on September 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22. Palco Mundo will also host Imagine Dragons on the 14th, as well as Ed Sheeran, Joss Stone and Jão on the 19th.
Ne-Yo has also been announced, but no date has been confirmed yet. Luísa Sonza, Gloria Groove, Ludmilla, Lulu Santos are also part of the list of artists who will perform at the festival.
