BLACKPINK’s Lisa creates a record label to promote solo projects

Lisa, one of the members of the group BLACKPINK, announced this Thursday (8/2) that she is creating her own record label, LLOUD, to promote her solo projects. Previously, artists Jennie and Jisoo had already invested in a similar project.

In recent days, unpublished photos of Lisa have begun to circulate on social media, suggesting that the singer had something new for her followers. The images were interpreted as a supposed new solo single, but were only an announcement about the record label.

“Introducing LLOUD, a platform to showcase my vision of music and entertainment. Join me on this exciting journey to push new boundaries together,” Lisa wrote on her Instagram profile.

Lisa also described her new label as an “arts management company” whose passion “is creating experiences that transcend genres and connect generations.” “Our core lies in tireless innovation and a commitment to authenticity. We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, creating extraordinary, genre-defying music charts,” she described herself.

Late last year, Lisa became the latest BLACKPINK member to renew her contract with agency YG Entertainment. The delay sparked rumors that the K-pop group was going through a “split” process with each other.

Shortly after, news emerged that the company would no longer be responsible for the artists’ solo projects, leading them to partner with other labels to promote their independent releases.
