Tracks from the new album may appear on the setlist Kings of Leon at the Lollapalooza Brazilbut Can We Please Have Fun will not be the focus of the presentation, as it has not yet been released.

When You See Yourself It may seem like a good choice, but make no mistake: the band will also not give priority to the most recent album, probably playing only “The Bandit”. The hits “Use Somebody” and “Closer”, however, are guaranteed songs in the show.

Responsible for raising the Kings of Leon to fame, “Sex on Fire” should end the group’s performance. “There comes a time when you can either be proud of what you’ve accomplished or continue to resent it,” he said. Caleb about the song he was encouraged to finish by his bandmates.

In an interview with NMEin 2021, the vocalist further added: “My resentful attitude was never because of the music itself, but because I felt we should have received this kind of recognition earlier in our career.”

“When lightning strikes, it strikes. There’s no way to recreate it or bottle it. Without that album, who knows if we’d still be making records today,” he added. Only by the Night, where “Sex on Fire” was included, is the band’s fourth studio album. “Use Somebody” and “Closer” are also the result of the 2008 project.

“Molly’s Chamber”, from the band’s debut album Kings of Leon, is usually included in the setlist. “King of the Rodeo” and “Taper Jean Girl”, from the following album, can also be played, as well as “Pyro” and “Radioactive”, from Come Around Sundown (2010). In other words, the band must explore its discography and please fans and audiences who only know the songs that are still played on the radio today.
