The singer fell ill during the latest round of shows held at the Colosseum Theater, located at Caesars Palace, where she currently resides.
Adele announced Tuesday (27/2) that she will have to suspend her performances in Las Vegas, where she is doing her residency, due to medical advice. In the lyrics, the singer explained that she got sick during the last round of shows and she needed temporary rest.
Currently, Adele performs in a series of shows at the Colosseum Theater, located at Caesars Palace. The residency was scheduled to end in June this year, but the break may disrupt this planning. “Unfortunately I have to take a break and interrupt my residency in Las Vegas. I got sick at the end of the last leg [de shows] and during my break,” he wrote on Instagram.
“I didn’t have the chance to get back to full health before resuming the shows and now I’m sick again and, unfortunately, all this has affected my voice. So, on doctors’ orders, I have no choice but to rest completely,” continued the singer, who cannot go on stage. “The remaining five weekends of this leg will be postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and the information will be sent to you as soon as possible.”
Therefore the presentations that would have taken place on March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30 have been postponed. The dates are still expected to be rescheduled by Adele’s team. “I love you, I will miss you very much and I’m sorry for the inconvenience,” the singer lamented.
