The São Paulo rapper reflects on a mentally ill society in his new song, released after three years without new productions
Emicida has released his latest song, “Acabou, Mas Tem…”, which will be in the repertoire of the final stage of the “AmarElo” tour. The song produced by the São Paulo rapper and Damien Seth was released on Thursday (29/2) on digital platforms.
Without releasing new music for three years, Emicida reflects on a mentally ill society that escapes stereotypes, but ends up trapped in its own paradigms. The clip directed by Pedro Conti and Diego Maia portrays this duality by representing the lyrics through animation.
“And I just want to feel good, like someone who’s a feather / But also a cougar in his way of life / Out of touch doesn’t help / That’s why I just want to feel good with you,” the rapper sings on his release.
