Apple issues warning to anyone who sleeps near charging iPhone
Instagram goes offline and generates memes on social media
This week, the Apple revealed that the application ‘Podcasts‘ gained the audio transcription feature. Thus, listeners of the content will be able to read the full texts of the episodes available on the platform. It is worth highlighting that the new feature is included in the iOS 17.4 and in iPadOS 17.4. However, the updates released last Tuesday (5) only appeared for compatible devices.
With the new feature made available by Apple, podcast consumers will find it easier to search. Be it a specific word or phrase said during the reproduction of the material. It is also worth mentioning that when tapping on the phrase or excerpt that you liked, the user will be taken directly to the exact minute of the episode in which the desired content appears.

Through a statement, the Apple issued an important warning to users who sleep close to the iPhone loading. Thus, in the text, the company stated that the device should not be plugged in or under blankets, pillows or the person’s body. According to the tips, the skin must be protected and avoid contact with the cell phone while it is connected to the power source.
“Use common sense to avoid situations where your skin comes into contact with the device, power adapter, or wireless charger when it is in operation or connected to a power source for long periods of time. For example, do not sleep on a device, power adapter, or wireless charger, or place them under a blanket, pillow, or body.“, explained the company.
“Number one: you can’t smell anything when you’re sleeping, so if it starts to burn, the fire won’t wake you up. Dois: it only takes three breaths, right, to knock you unconscious. Number three: Many people have cheap or faulty phone chargers, or even genuine chargers can start fires”, reported a firefighter from Kent Fire Rescue.
