Did you imagine that a robot toy could serve as a facilitator for criminals? Well… in an investigation carried out by the company Kasperskya cybersecurity specialist, the object presented important vulnerabilities that paved the way for malicious actions such as unauthorized video calls, hijacking of parental accounts and even firmware tampering.
The robot toy, the target of the investigation, had a combination smartphone/tablet and smart speaker, mounted on wheels. Thus, criminals could take advantage of security flaws and even steal personal information from servers. However, the developers acted quickly after the data collected and fixed the vulnerabilities presented.

Faced with the advancement of cyberattacks, the Microsoft released an official statement and alerted users. Thus, according to the company, criminals are already using the resources of the Artificial intelligence (AI) to improve attacks and apply blows. Furthermore, the ChatGPT it was also cited as the main software used by the crooks to develop the malware.
As expected, the Artificial intelligence (AI) is divided between positive and negative creations. However, hacker chatbots are gaining more and more space and using the resource to improve scams. One of the cases that caught attention was that of an employee of a multinational company who received an email from its CEO. The case happened in Hong Kong.
