Also willing to train new professionals in the technology field, Santander opened 75 thousand vacancies for the Santander Bootcamp 2024. The program offers scholarships in software development. Furthermore, it is 100% online and free for anyone interested. Therefore, future students must register by April 8th through the platform Santander Open Academy.

In four years of operation, we have trained thousands of people to work in different areas of the IT market. Anyone can apply for a scholarship, just be over 18 years old and have a strong desire to learn new programming languages. It is another Santander Universities initiative that trains professionals for new markets, leaving them ready to work in any segment“, said the executive superintendent of Santander Universities at the Brazil, Marcio Giannico.

COURSES BEYOND SANTANDER!

With an eye on the expansion of women in the technology sector, the Microsoft registration for the 3rd edition of GirlsPower. The training program aims to train professionals in the fundamentals of low code/no code programming on the Power Platform. Thus, anyone interested can sign up for the 5,000 vacancies available until March 17th.

Growing more and more in Brazil, the technology market has been standing out for the space offered to women. Thus, high salaries came to light as main points, but demand is still low. According to data published by General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged), female participation grew 60% in the sector in the period 2015-2022.

On the other hand, a study by the technology company Revelo, pointed out that only 12.7% of the market’s vacancies are occupied by women. Men are at 87.7%. Given the space and good salaries for women in the sector, schools have been offering free courses and enrollment so that women can increasingly enter the expanding market.
