Author of ‘Acorda Pedrinho’, the band is confirmed to play on September 10th
After the success at Rock in Rio Lisboa, the band Jovem Dionísio will perform on the Supernova del Rock stage in Rio Brasil on September 10th. The owners of the hit “Acorda Pedrinho” will perform for the first time at Rock in Rio Brasil, on stage in collaboration with Filtr Live, which follows the concept of “Fábrica dos Sonhos”. Featuring new national music talents, the set mixes established and publicly recognized attractions with newcomers. The band joins Lil Whind (Whindersson Nunes), Priscilla Alcantara, TETO and Francisco, el Hombre who have already been confirmed for the next edition of the festival. The complete line-up of the internship will be published shortly.
With a modern language and sounds that cross pop, electronic and rap, the band Jovem Dionísio is formed by the singer Bernardo Pasquali (Belni), by the bassist Gustavo Karam, by the keyboardist Bernardo Hey (Ber Hey), by the guitarist Rafael Mendes (Fufa) and by drummer Gabriel Mendes (Mendão).

Composed in 2019, at the Bar do Dionísio in Curitiba, the Brazilian indie pop band dedicates the hit Acorda, Pedrinho to a regular customer of this bar for over 20 years, where he used to take a nap. In 2020 she was recognized for her versatility, irreverence and quirks and was considered the “artist of the month” for Apple Music. The song Acorda, Pedrinho, which is part of the album of the same name, has become an absolute success and has exceeded 25 million plays on Spotify and over 14 million views in the official clip on YouTube. The album also contains other successful hits such as Cê Me Viu Yesterday, the first single, Risco, Tu Tem Jeito de Quem Gosto, Não Foi Por Mal and others.
On the same day, September 10, Camila Cabello, Bastille and Djavan perform at Mundo Stage Coldplay, while Sunset receives names such as Ceelo Green, Maria Rita & Guest, Gilsons & Guest and Bala Desejo & Guest.
In all, Supernova will host 37 attractions selected by Filtr Brasil and the festival in a setting that will delight fans of the City of Rock. The stage will feature gears in the scenography inspired by SteamPunk, a subgenre of science fiction set in an alternative reality, whose aesthetic proposal refers to the nineteenth century.
