In conversation with the Rolling Stone Brazil, the two say they are excited for the presentations here. The Brazilian public is already familiar with the duo, who cannot say exactly whether this will be their sixth or seventh visit to the country. The first time they set foot in Brazil was in 2014.

“We love it, it’s beautiful. The shows are fun and the fans are amazing, we are happy to be back,” he reports Rocky. About the fans, ross says that Brazilians are among the band’s most dedicated admirers. “Certainly one of the biggest entries on the internet and definitely one of our favorite atmospheres for live music,” he adds.

Next week, the two will have a meeting with the public at Lollapalooza Brazil, in the presentation that takes place on Sunday, 24th. They summarize the feeling of being at an event of this magnitude as “a dream come true.” “We love festival life. We wanted to play at festivals for a long time and finally we arrived in this market,” he says ross.

“It’s kind of surreal that we’re going to close the alternative stage,” reflects the musician. “But let’s see what happens. We will put on a great show.” Regarding possible surprises, the only spoiler we have — if we can call it that — is the band’s advice: “Expect the unexpected.”

During presentations, the two like to leave room for spontaneity. “Whenever we play at a festival it’s special for us, because it’s more unique,” he explains. Rocky, comparing it to other shows they do on tour. “This show will be with us for a while, we will remember it.”

For the show at Cine Joia, they say we can expect something different from what we will see at the weekend at Autódromo de Interlagos. “The setlist should go through more songs, I should have an extra beer at the side show. We’ll do crazier things,” he jokes. Rocky.

In both presentations, however, the band will perform songs from the three albums released to date — X (2019), girlfriend (2021) and Summer Mixtape (2022).

Despite the good performance, the two are not sure if the song can be considered a sample of what they should present in the future. “The next songs shouldn’t be so similar.”
