New film from Netflix promises to shake the structures of the Royal Family! This is because the controversy surrounding the interview with Prince Andrew to BBC Newsnight in 2019, about his connection to the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, will be relit. This Monday (18), Netflix released the trailer for “The Big Interview“, which will explore the consequences of this conversation. The production is scheduled to debut on streaming on April 5th.
The film adapts the work “Scoops: Behind the BBC’s Most Shocking Interviews“, written by Sam McAlister, a BBC producer who negotiated the interview with Buckingham Palace. In the plot, she comes to life by Billie Piper, Known for her role in “Doctor Who“. By your side, Gillian Anderson will play the journalist Emily Maitliswho made history by interviewing Andrew (played by Rufus Sewell), It is Keeley Hawes it will be Amanda Thirsksecretary to the Duke of York.
In the trailer for the new Netflix film, tense and full of twists, the network’s journalists seek information about Andrew’s involvement in sexual abuse cases. As they try to convince him to address the issue, they deal with team pressure and race against time as the FBI takes official action.
