Last month, Anderson was admitted to hospital to undergo treatment for groin cancer, a rare type of disease, located in the groin region. The artist underwent immunotherapy and painkillers and was discharged from hospital last Tuesday (3/19).
The Molejo group’s press office reported at the time that the singer had undergone “hypogastric nerve plexus block surgery for pain”, which had been successful. “We ask you to continue in prayer and we hope he returns to the stage soon,” he wrote on Instagram.
After coming and going from the hospital, the artist showed up enjoying an afternoon in the company of friends. He was also seen on video together with the musician Nene Brown, while listening to samba last Thursday (21/3), when the pagoda group took the stage at the Bar da Lapa, in Rio de Janeiro, without the participation of a colleague.
