When will Madonna’s concert be?
The presentation will take place on May 4th, at 9.45pm, and will be broadcast live on Multishow and TV Globo. This is supposed to be the biggest show of Madonna’s career.
Madonna’s visits to Brazil
This will be the queen of pop’s fourth time in Brazil. The first period occurred in 1993, when she led the tour The girls’ showwho promoted the album Eroticismin the country side. On that occasion, thousands of people gathered in Morumbi, in Sao Paulo, and in Maracanã, in Rio. Remember here how it was.
Madonna returned to Brazilian soil only 15 years later, in 2008, for the Sticky and sweet tour. Once again he visited Morumbi (in two nights) and Maracanã (with three shows). In the capital Sao Paulo the presentation was delayed by almost two hours, but the Estadao, who was in attendance, said the singer exuded good humor and performed with a “melting pot of styles and references”. In Rio, one night was characterized by heavy rain and the artist even fell on stage.
Madonna’s last visit to Brazil was in 2012, with The MDNA Tour. He did two shows in Morumbi, one at Parque dos Atletas, in Rio de Janeiro and, for the first time, visited Porto Alegre, with a night at the Olympic Stadium. At the time he gave a full show, danced a lot – as usual – and even gave up playing, but he made a few gaffes, like saying in Spanish what he wanted to say in Portuguese.
