Audience expectations for the free show on May 4th are one million people
The space designated for the passage of Madonna through Rio de Janeiro will extend from the hotel Copacabana Palace to the avenue Princess Isabelwith 16 audio and video return towers, in addition to audience lighting.
A Madonna: The Celebration Tour in Rio should use a structure similar to that of New Year’s Eve in Copacabana and the show should start between 9:30 p.m. It is 9:45 p.m. on May 4th, lasting two hours.
The presentation must only have a separate area for the press, sponsors and authorities, with no extra division for the general public.
The space will be used to receive an estimated audience of one million people, according to Luiz Oscar Niemayer, CEO of Bonus Track.
Asked about the speculation of expectations for 3 million people on the day of the show, Luiz Oscar Niemeyer denied the possibility:
“There’s no room for 3 million people in Copacabana. Everything is being designed so that everyone can be well accommodated. These numbers don’t match reality.”
