New Netflix super series could be a success or a disappointment

The series is behind ‘The Gentlemen‘, which arrived on the streaming service approximately three weeks earlier. So, regardless of the quality of ‘The Gentlemen’, one issue concerns the streaming giant. So the fact that ‘The 3-Body Problem’ debuts only in second place is definitely not a positive sign for the investment made by Netflix in producing the series.

In such a way that it is below the 140.1 million hours of ‘One Piece‘ in the first three days after launch. Furthermore, also below the 153.4 million viewing hours of ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender‘ in the first five days. These two adaptations of existing animated series have been renewed for new seasons.

Considering Netflix’s increasing demands on the selection of series it receives for more seasons, this situation may not be favorable for ‘The 3-Body Problem‘.
