In an interview with ‘Fantástico’, Gabriel Costa spoke about Wilma Petrillo, his mother’s former manager, who disputes the singer’s inheritance rights
Gal Costa dies in November 2022, but his name continues to spark a dispute between his son, Gabriele CostaAND Wilma Petrillo, his former manager and widow. The two gave interviews Fantastic which will air this Sunday, 31. Recently, he contested the right to the inheritance of his mother’s former manager and even asked for his body to be exhumed.
Gabriel suggests that, despite their cohabitation, Gal Gosto and Wilma Petrillo were not a couple: “She in fact became my mother’s manager. They began to live together, but without any type of relationship other than friendship and work” .
As for the exhumation, the singer’s son explains: “I just want to make sure it really is cardiac arrest.” Wilma, in turn, questions the motivation for the request: “I don’t know what you’re suspicious of, if you think I killed her, that I killed Gal?”
The businesswoman also highlights her version of events: “You can’t say it’s not a couple. The complicity we had was great. The love, even greater. I know Gal loved me very much.”
On the night of Sunday 31 March 2024, the report on the dispute over Gal Costa’s inheritance will be broadcast with interviews with his son Gabriel Costa and his former manager Wilma Petrillo. Fantastic it airs between 8.30pm and 11.10pm, but Globo does not communicate the exact time of each story.
