Singer Iza is expecting her first child. The information was confirmed by the artist’s press office, that this Friday (4/12) at 3pm she will do an official live broadcast on the topic on her social networks. Iza is three months pregnant and the baby is the result of her relationship with footballer Yuri Lima.
The couple has been together since January last year. Despite this, the singer lives in Rio de Janeiro, while he lives in the interior of São Paulo due to his work as a footballer for the Mirassol team. They met on Instagram, shortly after she split from music producer Sérgio Santos.
In an interview, Iza said she was looking at direct messages she had received and was interested in one from Yuri, who appeared to be a “mysterious and discreet” person. She replied and, from that moment on, the two began their love story.
In the live broadcast scheduled for Friday, Iza will have to explain what her working hours will be like. The singer has a show scheduled at Rock in Rio in September, when she is due to give birth.
