Yamandu returns to Brazil to present his album “Round trip”in a short season of shows across the country. After a world tour, the guitarist returns to his home country where he will perform in Araraquara, Birigui, Florianópolis, Curitiba and Londrina in May.
The artist performed in China, Russia, Turkey, Spain and France during his world tour and says:
“It’s great to play at home. It will be a great reunion with the public. I will present new songs, seeking to bring people closer to my sound universe. Each song has a reason for being, so I’ll explain a little about the album’s conception and the origins of this new crop of compositions. Everything in a very informal way,” he says. Yamandu.
The new album by Yamandu Costa explores Ibero-American music, highlighting the cantes de ida y vuelta, influenced by Spanish classics and other exotic rhythms. Consisting of 14 tracks, “Round trip” is not yet fully available on digital platforms, the artist has been releasing the tracks gradually each month. But those who will attend the show will be able to see the full album in advance.
