Grammy-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist Laufey releases the video for the single “Goddess.” Directed by Celine Song, responsible for the film Past Lives, nominated in 2023 for the Oscar for best film and best original screenplay. The video was recorded in Brooklyn, New York, and stars the artist and William Gao, known for playing Tao Xu in Netflix’s teen phenomenon Heartstopper. Watch the video for “Goddess”.
Laufey is making jazz history. After breaking several records, including the biggest debut of an album of its kind on Spotify, accumulating almost 6 million plays in the first 24 hours, and winning a Grammy for best traditional pop album with the album Bewitched, the second of the career, the Icelandic-Chinese artist will re-release the work, under the title Bewitched: The Goddess Edition, with four new tracks on April 26.
