“One of the reasons why I like taking Brazilian rhythms abroad so much, with ‘bossa-novistic’, ‘mpbistic’ references or more modern things like funk and rap, Brazilian music has a very specific touch that is different from many places in the world. world, like samba and bossa-nova, the timing of Brazilian rhythms is different, and this ‘bugs the foreigners’ and they love it […] this balance of Brazilian music is seen with different eyes abroad, and sometimes here we end up not even appreciating it, so it ends up being really cool to play this for foreigners” says the DJ.

“Another very rewarding thing about taking Brazilian music abroad is when a fan comes up to talk to me after the set like ‘wow, that’s cool that you played these Brazilian charts, I’ve been living here for 5 years and I never listen to Brazilian music, so you put These rhythms and vocals gave me a ‘breezy feel’ of Brazil, I even miss home’ and it’s really cool to generate this for Brazilians who live abroad, so they end up having these two really cool sides, which is showing Brazilian culture to foreigners but also to bring this sense of home to Brazilians who are living there or traveling”, he adds.

Mochakk shared some insights into its recent partnership with Circoloco Recordsdiscussing the release of their latest hit, “Jealous”, and offering a brief look at what fans can expect from his upcoming projects. However, the DJ chose not to reveal many details.

“Within the scope of launches, “Jealous” it was the grand finale of 2023, she had already been ready for a year and I had already been bringing her to some sets, the singer’s vocals Loleatta Holloway They are bizarre, very incredible, and the track had already been successful even before it officially came out, but we decided to give it a lot of focus in different facets of the project, such as marketing, so that we could broadcast it to the fullest. As for future projects, I have a lot of ideas, I want to release an album in 2024, but there won’t be time yet, I even posted on Twitter talking about it and people already wanted me to release it now, but bringing an album involves a lot of work, and I don’t want to release it for the sake of releasing it, I want to bring a complete and cool work, to really be my first album release, so this is one of my projects for 2024, I hope it can be done. There are also some party things, but I can’t say more details, but we have my own party projects.”
