The singer of the group Molejo asked the other members to continue with their agenda after his departure

Anderson Leonardo reportedly recorded more than 60 songs for the group Molejo before dying last Friday (26/4), due to a rare cancer in the groin region. The information was revealed by Marquynhos Sp, a close friend of the pagodeiro.

In an interview with Caras Brasil, Marquynhos confirmed the launch of the “Paparico do Molejo” project, a new album from the group that will feature reinterpretations of their greatest hits and special appearances from other names in the musical genre.

“We will publish the new work that is already recorded because we have not published everything yet. It is a project called ‘Paparico do Molejo'”, guarantees Marquynhos. “As long as he was lucid, he couldn’t see me talking about work. He always said, ‘Oh, take care of work, let’s go. I’ll be on the street again soon, let’s go upstairs’.”

“We have released a track of this work, which is a song called ‘Expectativa Realidade’, with Thiaguinho. But there are still 62 songs to be released, including unreleased songs and reinterpretations. We will analyze everything, but, in truth, I think it will be released in the second half of ‘year. This was his last work in life,” said the artist.

Finally, Marquynhos stated that the singer asked the other members of Molejo to remain active: “The agenda continues, because that is what he asked the artists, who are his companions, not to stop Molejo and not to stop the agenda So, Molejo continues with five artists: Andrezinho, Claumirzinho, Tio LĂșcio, Jimmy and Robson Calazans”.
