The band from Rio Grande do Sul brought together several guest artists in the Podpah studio and raised significant funds to help those affected by floods in the state
The Fresno rock band from Rio Grande do Sul performed live on Tuesday afternoon (7/5), raising over R$2 million. The event, which took place at the Podpah podcast studio, was attended by several artists from the national music scene, including Gustavo Mioto, Junior, Emicida, Seu Jorge, Dinho Ouro Preto and Gee Rocha, of Nx Zero. During the five-hour event, musicians performed and encouraged the public to contribute donations.
Virtual participation and strong support
In addition to the live performances, the broadcast also featured the virtual participation of other big names in music, such as Ludmilla, Pitty and Badauí, from CPM 22. The live broadcast was largely supported by an infrastructure that included replication of the signal on six different channels, ensuring wide diffusion and participation.

The presenters of Podpah, Igão and Mitico, underlined the importance of the event: “Today [ontem] it was historic. After the event, singer Lucas Silveira expressed his gratitude and announced plans for the distribution of donations: “It was absurd. Thanks to all the artists and professionals involved and to those responsible for the donation of R$ 2 million” , he said.
The Fresno singer also informed that the donations will begin to be distributed this Wednesday (5/8): “From tomorrow we will start distributing the donations (…) You guys were crazy.
