The song was supervised by children and made available on digital platforms
An unreleased version of the 1976 song For Lennon and McCartney in the voice of Eli Regina was restored with the help of artificial intelligence and published this Friday, 10th, on the main music apps.
Composed by Lô Borges, Márcio Borges and Fernando Brant, the song received new arrangements by musician Marcelo Maita. The song was produced by João Marcello Bôscoli and supervised by singer Pedro Mariano, Elis’ last two children.
To strengthen the sound of the original version, only equipment and instruments of the time were used. In some cases, the producers used the same equipment as Elis’ original recording in the 1970s. The singer died on January 19, 1982 in Sao Paulo.
The song was released by the record label Trama. “What few people know is that the name Trama was inherited from the company that Elis had in the 1970s. When André Szajman and I founded the company in 1998, we saw it as a continuity, a new phase of the work started”, explains Boscoli.
