Singer Djavanone of MPB’s greatest icons, arrives at Espaço Unimed, in St. Paulto present the tour D this Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th The project takes its name from the latest album released by the artist. D2022. Tickets for both days are already sold out.

The scenography of the presentations, curated by Gringo Cardia, celebrates the Brazilian people. The stage has a physical setting with panels created by artists Daiara Tukano, Heloisa Hariadne and Yermollay Caripoune and another with LED projections.

The images on display will be by nine artists, the majority of whom are Black, Indigenous and from the suburbs. Among them are: Aislan Pankararu, Daiara Tukano, Heloisa Hariadne, João Farkas, Marcela Cantuária, Mulambo, Pedro Neves, Nação Kuikuros | Takuma and Yermollay Caripoune.

The tour D gave rise to a special album, released by the singer in April: D Ao Vivo Maceió. The album contains the performance that started the project, recorded in his homeland. Djavan still has tour dates scheduled in June at the TIM Music Rio Festival, Rio de Janeiro, João Rock, Ribeirão Preto, and Turá, São Paulo. In July he performs in Europe.

At the shows, Djavan has to sing songs from the album DAS In a world of peace AND Illuminated, but will also explore his entire discography. There will be more than 20 songs, including Ocean, Samurai AND Destiny. The selection of songs for performances usually varies, but it is possible to get an idea of ​​the probable setlist with the songs chosen for the singer’s last performance in the capital of Sao Paulo.

DoRo Gastronomy

Quickly leaving the show, there is time to see this very cute little house in Perdizes open. Led by chef Matheus Buosi, the cuisine is Italian inspired. It is worth knowing that there is also a bet on breakfast, starting from 8:00. Dinner entree options include burrata accompanied by mango vinaigrette and naturally fermented Italian bread.

The recommended main courses are the traditional pork sausage meatloaf, stuffed with mozzarella, served with artisanal pasta in an Italian tomato sauce, and desserts that surprise for their delicacy, such as the 54% Belgian chocolate mousse with almond farofa and meringue Swiss.

Laskarina Bouboulina

Located in a corner house, on a quiet street, Laskarina Bouboulina is a cozy tavern serving food with Mediterranean, Turkish and Brazilian influences. Most of the dishes on chef Daniela França Pinto’s menu are for sharing and are served in the wood-fired oven installed right at the entrance to the small room. Oh, and the name is a tribute to a Greek pirate who fought against the Ottomans: he was responsible for providing the soldiers with ammunition and food with his ship, the largest of the time.

The Baianeira

For those who want to reverse the order and have lunch before the show, here is a good option. The A Baianeira restaurant, very close to Espaço Unimed, is welcoming, rarely full and offers a reasonably priced menu.

The meats in special dishes or the sandwiches, always in generous portions, are a characteristic of the restaurant. It’s worth seeing, but it closes at night. Also open for breakfast.
