Asked about his mother’s influence, Betty-Annin career, Caleb confessed, “I know every mother believes in her child, but she believed in us a lot more than you probably should believe in your children.” Betty-Ann passed away in 2021.

“We had no money… Many people were in a much worse situation than we were, but we went to bed hungry and were embarrassed by the clothes we wore as children,” he continued. “But while all of this was going on, our mom was still saying, ‘You guys know you’re going to be really special. You’re going to do something big.’ I don’t know if she totally believed that, but I know she was going to make us believe it.”

Caleb He further revealed that the most important lesson he learned from his mother was that “you don’t have to have everything to achieve everything. You can start with very little and get very far if you work hard.”
