Former Train bassist Charlie Colin dies aged 58 in a shower accident, according to the portal

Charlie Colinformer bassist and one of the founders of the band Trainpassed away at the age of 58 and was found this Wednesday, May 22, after suffering a fall in the shower, as reported by TMZ.

According to the mother of Colin, he was house sitting for friends in Belgium when the accident happened. The musician’s body was found about five days later, when his friends returned.

Colin was awarded a Grammy for the best rock song thanks to the hit “Drops of Jupiter” and was with Train during the recording of their first three studio albums. He left the band in 2003. According to the singer Pat Monahan, Colin left the group due to drug addiction problems, which prevented him from participating in the success “Hey Soul Sister”released in 2009.

After leaving the Train, Colin continued his career playing with several other bands, including Slipknot It is Puddle of Mudd.
