The guitarist of the group Afrocidade, Flávio de Oliveira da Silva, known as Fal Silva, died after being beaten on Friday night (24/5), in the city of Camaçari, metropolitan region of Salvador.

According to information from the Civil Police, the 32-year-old musician was attacked by a group of men in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood. The 4th Homicide Police Station (DH/Camaçari) is investigating the crime. The police are investigating the circumstances, paternity and motivations of the murder.
On social media, the band Afrocidade mourned the death of Fal Silva. “Still hard to believe, we will miss you so much. Rest in peace brother,” the band wrote.
