Singer Dani Black announces the first part of her new project “o – A City Called Myself – Part 1”

‘Part 1’ of his new album features production from Los Brasileros, Latin Grammy-winning producers

The singer and composer Daniel Black announces the first phase of its new project, “o – A Town Called Myself – Part 1” with production of Los Brasileirosthe project will be divided into three stages, this being the first, the second scheduled for the second semester and the third completing the complete album.

“This album started like my albums usually start, with three songs that were made in sequence. When I made these three songs, I felt like I had started something new, a more pop vibe, more out there. […] They bring an energy of wanting to get out, of bringing the body to sway, the throat to sing along, with strong choruses. That made me sure that I had an album in my hands” he says black.

The partnership with Los Brasileros allowed them to explore different repertoires together and build something unique, merging pop with their personal style. Daniel Black“We created a new sound for both me and them.”

The singer also talks about the creative process behind the release of the album in three stages, and explains the reasons that led him to this move outside of what we are used to seeing:

“The idea came through this symbol that was created: a ball, a line and a triangle, which together form a figure that resembles a man, a key, a lock […] My sister and creative director, Patricia Black, visualized this through a drawing of mine and said there were three parts, three chapters of this journey. That’s how the idea of releasing the album in three parts came about.

In addition to addressing different themes and emotions, the album brings sensuality and feeling. “I think the message this album brings is about love, a combination between the sensuality of the songs and the sound with a place of heart, of feeling […] It’s an album that talks about this visceral and loving energy, a conversation between what’s inside us and the importance of opening up to the world.” says the singer
