YOHAN, former Netflix reality participant, explores music career and will release his new EP

YOHANformer participant of the reality show Netflix“Round 6 – The Challenge”, is embarking on a new phase of his career by exploring the world of music. He will release his new EP, titled “Flowers”, which will be available on digital platforms next Thursday, May 30th, at 9pm. The project marks a significant transition in the singer’s trajectory in life.

On the EP “Flowers”, he tells a love story that is told with each song, and will be continued in the next two volumes that he plans to release. The title track is inspired by the 2023 hit, “Flowers”in Miley Cyrus.

The artist revealed that, after participating in the reality show, he felt exhausted and disappointed. He remained in Europe, where he found inspiration for the song.

“It all started with my participation in the Netflix reality show. We were abused mentally, physically and emotionally. Fraud, manipulation and lies. I was devastated. As soon as they let us go I decided to stay in Europe for a month, it was when I met this person that I fell madly in love. I was vulnerable, feeling like a failure, and to top it all off, I was alone in that devastating moment. That was in February 2023 and this relationship only ended in September,” he said. YOHAN.

These tracks tell about the end of a relationship that marked the singer, and inspired him to create and express his feelings in an artistic way, and talk about the ending of cycles and the different emotions that he feels in moments like this.

“We started by launching ‘Round 6’, ‘Broken Love’ and finally ‘Flowers’, thus ending the first love story told backwards. The process of creating these new songs happened after the end of this extremely toxic relationship I lived in. In other words, I couldn’t release the songs in the same sequence as a love story, I was already living the end!” ends.
