Pre Parada: SP is buzzing during LGBT Pride week

Find out what to do during the holidays before the LGBT Pride Parade

The LGBTIA+ Pride Parade will take place this Sunday (02) in Avenida Paulista and promises to break attendance records. In the last edition, between 10am and 7pm, around 3 million people passed through Paulista Avenue. And it generated more than R$500 million, according to the city council. This is the second largest event to take place on the boulevard, second only to the New Year’s Eve party.

This year it welcomes artists such as Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove and Tiago Abravanel. And this year’s theme is “Enough with negligence and setbacks in the legislature: consciously vote for the rights of the LGBT+ population.” The concentration begins at 10am, near Brigadeiro station. From 9.30am, the Estrela do Tercio Milênio samba school, part of the São Paulo Special Carnival Group, begins entertaining those who arrive early. Starting at 10am, the show’s official host, Tchaka Drag Queen, also welcomes the first trio. The group will honor the victims of the Rio Grande do Sul floods. But until Sunday arrives, clubs, bars and cultural centers prepare their programs.

Today (30), from 10:00 to 20:00, the 23rd LGBT+ Diversity Cultural Fair transforms the Memorial da América Latina into a space to celebrate diversity, entrepreneurship and culture. The event will feature more than 200 exhibitors, as well as musical, theatrical, dance performances and numerous other cultural activities. Free Entrance – collect the ticket.

At the D-Edge club today the Moving party takes place with WOHJ, DRUNKY DANIELS and ERIC FRAGA. On Friday (31st), the FREAK CHIC party invites DJs André Torquato, Zeo and Paola Vigorito. And on Saturday, the NAVE party takes place under the leadership of DJs Soldera, Pippi Ciez live (UK), Mezomo, Matthias Meyer (DE), Marcos Resmann (DE), Diogo Accioly, Carol Mattos, Nick Sossai and Stoicov. learn more.

On Saturday (01), Presidenta Bar will bring together diversity on the track with GO, Obrun, Paulorr, Raveane and Vagarosa. One of the highlights of the evening is the show of the duo Meta Golova, formed by the musician Carlos Issa and the Siberian polyartist Lena Kilina, who sings in Russian in a great performance.
