The group also announced the release of the physical version of ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’
O Traga-me o horizonte became the most streamed rock band in the world after releasing HUMAN POST: NeX GEn. The position was taken over by the British at the same time they announced the release of the physical version of the album.
HUMAN POST: NeX GEn It had more than 70 million streams, occupying eight of the ten positions in Spotify’s Top 10. Therefore, the Traga-me o horizonte is the rock band with the most streams of the week (via NME).
The group surprised fans by releasing the album after several postponements. HUMAN POST: NeX GEn is the band’s first studio album since POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR (2020) and I love (2019). The album is also the first since the departure of Jordan Fishwho had been in the group for over a decade.

Concept
The vocalist Oli Sykes spoke about the concept behind the record (via NME): “It’s a true concept album, with a complete narrative that connects with the first album. But the concept is hidden and buried.”
“Some people won’t be interested, but for others it can serve as a self-help book. There’s a lot in there, some of it is very clear, but a lot of it is encrypted and hidden. People will have a hard time,” he added.
Postponements
The launch of HUMAN POST: NeX GEn has been postponed several times over the last few months and was planned for September last year, after being announced in Download Festival. According to the band, “unforeseen circumstances” prevented the album from being finished in a way that would have made them “happy”.
Brazil
O Traga-me o horizonte will pass through Brazil in November this year. The band performs at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, on the 30th.
