The singer spoke to Rolling Stone Brazil at the event and revealed what fans can expect from his next album:
It’s a very happy album, right? Very peaceful. I think there was no way not to talk about the things I experienced. I couldn’t sing about anything else. So, I think this next album will be the same thing. Thank God I have experienced many good things, many blessings. I think everything that’s happened to me has been good — it hasn’t been easy, but it’s been good. I think this will be the sunniest album of my life, the most uplifting album of my life, because that’s what I’m experiencing right now: a moment of a lot of light, a lot of gratitude, a lot of tranquility. Seeing how people received my last album also helped me feel safer to create without being afraid of what people will think. It’s really being the artist I want to be, without worrying too much about other people’s expectations.
This album was healing for me, because it was the first time I had the courage to delve into my vulnerabilities… these are parts of me that I’m not really proud of, I don’t go around telling everyone… From the moment I I make this become music, it’s an open book, right?
But I realized that, through my stories, some people also connected with this and how peaceful I felt after that. I needed to dive into them [vulnerabilidades] to be able to turn them into music and I think this dive made me see everything in a less insecure and more safe way.
Pregnancy
Iza she also thanked her for the affection she has received from her admirers during her pregnancy. A few weeks ago, she revealed that she is expecting a girl. The artist and her boyfriend, Yuri Limadecided that they will call it Nala.

I’m 33 years old now, I started singing professionally when I was 26. A lot of things I experienced, I achieved with a lot of work, but, at the same time, I feel very surprised by everything that happened. Experiencing pregnancy like this is another one of those surprises. I never imagined that there would be a cake for my daughter in the audience, that there would be a poster for her in the audience… I am very happy to experience this process together with my fans.
The owner of the hit “Pesadão” also confessed that her performances are being adapted according to the changes she has experienced with her body:
My performances are getting more and more different. The first show was a surprise, I didn’t really know how I was going to behave. […] The heat and adrenaline of the stage end up taking over. […] I’m doing my choreography normally. Maybe, later on, I’ll adapt the choreography for “Fé”. […] Now I’m also a little more out of breath. Everything is getting tight here. I think it will be a discovery at each show. It’s been really cool because I’m getting a lot of love.
Iza she also encouraged other women to do what they want, like her: “Being doing this while pregnant is proof, even for me, that we, women, can do whatever we want. […] I think it’s really cool to know that I own my career today, that I can choose the things I do, that I have the peace of mind of being here with the certainty that I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, of putting on my clothes, showing my belly. … I hope other women feel inspired by this too, because I think being a woman means being able to be.”
