The singer disobeyed medical recommendations and is now on absolute rest, his consultant said.
Luan Santana canceled a show at DivinaExpo, in Divinópolis (MG), last night. The organizers claim that he had a sudden illness upon landing at the airport and the singer’s consultants report that he had been ill for days and is resting at home.
What happened?
According to the organizers of the event, upon arrival at the Brigadeiro Cabral airport, in Divinópolis, the artist suddenly felt ill, which immediately made it necessary to be transported by air to the Albert Einstein hospital, in São Paulo. “The management of the event emphasizes that they were as surprised as the audience, since everything was ready to welcome him, including the entire team of the singer who was already present in the DivinaExpo premises,” reads the note published in the stories of the event.
However, Luan’s consultant denied the sudden illness and the need to go to hospital. In a statement, it said the singer had been ill and feverish since Tuesday (28/5) and had been advised to rest for four days, but he chose to maintain his performance schedule and felt unwell again when he landed in Divinópolis. Now, according to the press office, Luan is at absolute rest.
