In 2022, DaPaz He created “Nosso Domingo”, meetings with his pagoda shows that take place every Sunday in Lagoa, an exclusive neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. While aiming for the success of the project, the singer did not imagine the scale that the event would reach over time. After two years he realizes his dream of recording a DVD to record the atmosphere that can be felt in the reviews he produces. In fact, “our Sunday” attracts important participants.
Among the artists who have already been there are: Ludmilla, Bk, Mc Cabelinho, Luccas Carlos, Ryan, Pocah, Swing Sympathy and more. “The DVD also comes to celebrate the two years that we have been hosting ‘Nosso Domingo’, a project created with great affection and welcomed by a wonderful audience,” declares the singer who currently performs 15 to 20 shows a month.
The intention from the beginning was to bring back the “down to earth” atmosphere that DaPaz offers on weekends: “There everyone is the same, everyone is having fun, having fun and having fun. Fun for me is the main thing. That’s what I wanted to bring to DVD,” explains the singer. DaPaz also mentions the contribution he gave to the recordings, Suel, Bk, Vulgo FK and Di Propósito helped him with the musical performances:
“I invited people who were part of my story and my event to the project,” he says. He says Suel is one of his biggest references: “I’ve been listening to it all my life, I’m a huge fan. It’s a monster reference.” DaPaz continues: “BK and Orochi are always present at the event, people give them this prestige and I have a lot of respect for their work, that’s why I wanted to record these participations”, he says.
As for the references for the production of the DVD which will be available on June 6, DaPaz did not fail to highlight the big names in the pagoda today. On your list are: Rust, Mumuzinho AND Ludmilla.
“Mumuzinho, I am a big fan of yours and have been following your work for a long time, Ludmilla is a great inspiration for my work and I had the privilege of having her in our review. Ferrugem, on the other hand, is one of Pagode’s greatest voices. It would be impossible not to think of putting into practice a childhood dream that I’m very happy about!”, declares the singer.
