Bruce Dickinson cancels Romania show due to health issues

Singer Bruce Dickinson He had to cancel his June 3 show in Bucharest, Romania due to health issues.

According to the note published on the singer’s official Facebook profile, he began to feel ill in London.

“Several members of the band and crew had been suffering from a flu-like virus since the start of the European leg of the tour, and at the London show Bruce also began to fall ill. He managed to complete the show in Paris, but was having difficulty in Groningen to sing to the standard that he and his fans have come to expect, so during last night’s show in Budapest, it became apparent that Bruce was seriously ill and, following medical advice, now needs to rest completely to preserve his health and keep up with the other shows on the tour. Unfortunately, this means that fans in Romania will not be able to see Bruce and his band perform at this time,” the statement said.

“In the last few shows I have been straining my voice due to a viral infection. I was hoping that the two days after the shows in Holland would be enough to rest my voice, but the show in Budapest was really difficult. The audiences were fantastic , but I have a duty to the rest of the tour and a responsibility to take care of my instrument… it’s the only one I have, so, with a very heavy heart, I had to make the decision to cancel tomorrow’s show in Bucharest tomorrow! I’ll see a throat specialist to confirm the wisdom of my decision, but after 40 years of singing, I know when things aren’t right and the voice needs a temporary rest,” Bruce said.

“I am devastated for the Bucharest fans. I can only apologize and thank them for their support and understanding,” finished.
