The band was once top of the line-up of Reading & Leeds Festival 2019 and should lead the list of festival performances such as mad cool and Electric Castle still in 2022. Asked if the band was used to headlining festivals, the singer replied: “Yes and no. We like the added pressure.”
“We feel that even if the other bands of the day look at us that way, there’s almost a responsibility to represent them as the closing show. Twenty One Pilots told about one of the favorite moments of their career, and it was during a concert at the Reading and Leeds Festival, in England. “I’ll never forget that,” said Josh Dun to NME.
The moment they sang “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” of Oasis, in August 2019 is considered “one of the career favorites of the Twenty One Pilots.” Tyler Josephthe duo’s composer, told how he felt at the time: “Playing that song made me want to say, ‘Why can’t I write such a good song?’”
He added how he always remembers the performance and felt impacted by the way fans connected with the song. “That kind of connection is something I’m still looking for and looking for.
