Greg Barton played 128 Foo Fighters songs at once in charity campaign called ‘Foo Fighting Cancer’
Mission Accomplished! The drummer Greg Barton played, as promised, all Foo Fighters songs — in the order of release of each album and following the tracklists — at once to promote a charity campaign to help cancer research.
He paid tribute to his grandmother, diagnosed with the disease, and Taylor Hawkinsdrummer of Foo Fighters passed away in 2022. After more than nine hours with drumsticks in hand, playing a total of 128 songs, Barton raised US$7,700.

I couldn’t be happier with what this has turned into. So grateful for the amazing people I was able to work with to make this a reality. Not only did we reach our fundraising goal, but I was able to make it along the way and have a lot of fun. Thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart, for making this one of the best days. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. You can see my mother left with a cramp on song 57, and I really thought I might not finish… I think pure adrenaline carried me through the last three albums. Let me know which songs you liked the most, and I hope it brightens your day. We will leave the collection open for a few more weeks. Enjoy!
