Allen, who is married to the actor Davide PortoIn Stranger things, also lamented the lack of live performances: I really miss those extreme moments. Like I missed being on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and hustling. I know I will never face this again and there is a sadness that comes with it. But I’m stabilized. I am no longer going through long, terrible periods of absolute desperation.”
For the singer, her daughters ruined her career Lily Allen decided to explain his departure from the music industry.
In a podcast interview Radio timeshappened a week ago, the owner of the successes with It’s not right, Smile, Fuck you AND Fear surprised to reveal why she hasn’t been active in music lately.
He attributes this to his daughters, ages 10 and 12. “My daughters ruined my career”the artist said.
“When it comes to my career, I never really have a strategy, but yes, my daughters have ruined my career.”Lily Allen told Radio Times.
But he considered: “I love them and they complete me, but in terms of pop stardom, they ruined everything.” And he continued: “It really irritates me when people say you can have it all because, frankly, you can’t. Some people choose careers over children and that’s their prerogative.”
