The singer expresses longing and reflects on the duo’s legacy in an emotional text on Instagram
The singer Ralf, brother and couple of Chrystian, who passed away last Wednesday (19/6), at the age of 67, used his Instagram profile to express the pain of the loss in an emotional text. Even though they separated artistically a few years ago, Ralf has reflected on the legacy and music they shared.
A letter to Cristiano
“My dear brother… Even though we were far away, in a few minutes, before going on stage, I reflected… Life has blessed us so much, that we often manage to catch Chrystian and Ralf in the same space of time and day, our heritage, our music,” Ralf wrote.
Ralf continues to remember the moments in which, even from a distance, he saw that he and his brother remained connected through music: “In Minas Gerais, with you, my brother, the fans listened to and appreciated Chrystian and Ralf. I, in Goiânia, the fans listened and they liked Chrystian and Ralf. Sometimes, coincidentally, at the same time, it made me think that our music, our legacy, was bigger than a separation.
“Nothing, no one, not even ourselves, will ever be able to separate Chrystian and Ralf. How generous life has been with Chrystian and Ralf. I miss you. I love you very much and forever,” concluded Ralf.

Last Thursday (20th), Ralf had already published a message in which he expressed his regret: “We have always done our best. Given our commitments, unfortunately we were not able to say goodbye. But I am sure that our ‘Father’ will guide you towards the light together with the Lord Jesus. Rest in peace, my brother.”
Chrystian died at the age of 67 after suffering septic shock due to pneumonia, aggravated by comorbidities, such as a serious kidney problem, which the singer intended to treat with a transplant.
