Singer explains leaving the group and talks about the challenges of living with other members
Singer and former BBB Aline Wirley spoke out in a message following the release of a print showing her departure from a Rouge WhatsApp group. In a long post on Instagram, Aline detailed the situation and challenges of her relationship with the band.
Disagreements and feelings
Aline began her report by explaining the context of her departure: “Aline left the group… I laughed a lot when I saw this story from my friend Karin Hils yesterday. I sent a message to Ka and we laughed together. message that precedes ‘Aline left the group’, I said some things that I had in my heart and that I felt like saying, in fact, I am a Rouge enthusiast, and for this reason I insist on making clear the extent of my gratitude for everything that Rouge has given me given in this life.”
The singer underlined the complexities of coexistence in the group: “As I said in the message I sent to the group, I love Rouge and I love our history, but our relationship as a group is a relationship made up of many layers, many expectations and frustrations. And, confessing here, our group dynamics aren’t the best. We’re very different women, and we each deal with everything that was Rouge in our own way.
Collective impact and future of Rouge
Aline mentioned the importance of each member in the functioning of the group: “But it is important to state that within a group dynamic, everything one person does or does not do has an impact on all the other people involved. Aline assures that there are still possibilities for the group: “For those who still hope that we work together, I say that there are possibilities, but since there are 5 of us, and everything depends on our chemistry, it might happen, it might not. Rouge is a box of surprises and anything is possible!”
Concluding her outburst, Aline spoke about the complexity of human relationships: “For me, in reality, we are talking here about human relationships, about dreams and desires, about our differences, about how each of us sees and faces life, and about how, given our differences and complexities, we make things work or not Anyway… there is so much to say, I would also like to tell this story.
Rouge’s Story
Members of the Spice Girls-inspired band gained national recognition by winning the reality show “Popstars” (2002), which aired on SBT. The group gained a legion of fans with hits like “Ragatanga.” Rouge disbanded in 2006, but returned to action in 2017 with new music and celebratory shows. However, the comeback did not last long, and the singers again declared the end of the group when they realized that their personal lives were interfering with the collective agenda.
In 2022, Karin Hils tried to reunite all the former members of Rouge in an Instagram live to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary, but only Li Martins participated. Last year, when Aline joined “BBB 23,” members showed support on social media and cheered for the artist on the reality show.
Now, apparently, there was an invitation or plans for a new tour, but Aline decided not to participate, confirming her departure from Rouge.
