In Pride month, singer and songwriter Sarah Abdala releases a single and video that can speak to anyone who has already experienced a love story. “Hora de Voltar” is a powerful romantic song that talks about longing and longing for a second chance. The song comes with a video starring Samantha Jones and Manu Morelli, also engaged in real life, to interpret the trajectory of the couple’s love.

Abdala composed the song in collaboration with his wife Tai Fonseca, and the musical production highlights the string arrangement that includes Jaques Morelenbaum’s cellos, highlighting the explosion of feeling in the song.

The album’s clips tell the love story between Sofia and Nat, played by Samantha Jones (Um Lugar ao Sol, Todas As Flores, Renascer) and Manu Morelli (Where Is My Heart, Every Day the Same Night). Sofia and Nat meet in an unusual way and will explore all the possibilities of this meeting; discovery, passion, contemplation, longing, heartbreak and reunion. In the new clip, we get to know another part of this story.

“Each clip will tell a moment in the story of the two characters, and eventually, when the album comes out, all the stories come together chronologically to describe this love story between two women,” says Sarah.

The new song joins “’Ar” and “Frenesi Cotidiano,” a feat featuring singer and actress Samantha Jones. If in previous albums Sarah had decided to pack her bags in Latin America and even stop in the Lebanon of her ancestors, now she wants to explore the simplicity and power of love songs. “I Will Still Make a Love Song” is the result of a collaboration between Sarah Abdala and Mexican music producer Marian Ruzzi, who has a history of collaborating with renowned artists, including Natalia Lafourcade, Julieta Venegas and Ximena Sariñana.
